About the Practice
The practice,
and the person behind it.

White Lily Reiki was shaped in part through my own experience navigating autoimmune illness and nervous system overwhelm. Living with chronic stress and periods of depletion deepened my understanding of the importance of rest, pacing, emotional safety, and compassionate support.
That experience continues to inform the atmosphere and pacing of this practice. My approach is gentle, restorative, and intentionally unrushed — designed to support clients seeking calm, grounding, and nervous system renewal in a spacious and emotionally safe environment.
The practice especially welcomes women in transition and perimenopause, emotionally reflective professionals, and anyone living with chronic stress or a sensitive nervous system. You do not need to identify as spiritual to be held well here.
Values
Restorative. Grounded. Emotionally intelligent.
- Pace is set by the body, not the clock.
- Care is offered without spiritual performance.
- Integration is treated as part of the work, not after it.
- Sensitivity is honored as wisdom.

Meet Kenna
The person behind the practice.
Kenna’s work is shaped by lived experience with lupus, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, and the long terrain of autoimmune illness, chronic stress, and nervous system overwhelm. After years of trying to understand her own health, she came to see nervous system regulation, pacing, rest, and emotional safety as meaningful parts of healing alongside medical care.
That understanding informs how she holds sessions: carefully, gently, and without rushing. Her background in linguistics, learning design, and human-centered education shapes a thoughtful approach to communication, care, and the small details that make a space feel safe to settle into.
White Lily Reiki is intended as a supportive place for people navigating stress, burnout, chronic illness, grief, recovery, life transitions, and sensitive nervous systems — a quiet room to come back to yourself.

Beyond the session room
When I’m not in session, I’m usually reading, practicing yoga, spending time near the coast, photographing people and places, traveling, taking classes, or quietly being with my dogs. I’m continually drawn to learning about nervous system care, whole-person healing, family systems, and the ways intuition and emotional awareness intersect with how we regulate, relate, and return to ourselves. I’m especially interested in how family patterns shape our sense of safety and connection, and how small shifts in awareness can open space for something steadier to grow.
Lineage & Approach
A practice rooted in contemplative lineage.
I am certified through the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT) in First and Second Degree Usui / Holy Fire® III Reiki Ryoho. The word Ryoho may be understood as a healing art or healing method, reflecting Reiki’s roots as both a contemplative and restorative practice.
Usui Reiki emerged in Japan through a blend of contemplative practice, spiritual philosophy, energetic awareness, meditation, compassionate presence, and restorative touch. Over time, it evolved through several teaching lineages into the contemporary restorative practice shared around the world today.
